Olathe School District’s Board of Education met Monday evening, March 25.
From a policy standpoint, the highlight of the agenda was unanimous approval of a resolution “authorizing and providing for the calling of a bond election in Unified School District No. 233, Johnson County, Kansas (Olathe) for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the District the question of issuing General Obligation Bonds of the District in the amount of $244,800,000; authorizing the application to the State Board of Education for the authority to call said bond election; and providing for the giving of notice of said bond election.”
If approved by the Kansas State Board of Education, voting will take place Tuesday, June 11.
