Gardner Edgerton School District’s Board of Education met Monday evening, March 11. From a policy standpoint, the highlights of their agenda were:
- Unanimously approving a resolution to authorize the refinancing of existing school bond debt in order to save money for the district;
- Unanimously voting to approve new curriculum standards for language arts and math classes; and
- Unanimously voted to approve new district policies governing “Curriculum & Instruction” and “Administration.”
