Citizen Journalism: Education News Reporting
#2101 A
Learn to be a citizen journalist. The KC Education Enterprise is searching for writers to cover school board meetings and other education stories. This class will introduce you to basic reporting skills. You’ll also come away with an overview of education policy issues in the Kansas City metro area. Millions of dollars of our money goes to support public education. Taxpayers want to know how their money is being spent. More importantly, we want to make sure our young people have every chance for academic success. People are hungry for education news. You could help write it.
