In addition to routine agenda items, such as paying bills and hearing Clark Middle School students talk about food service, board members will focus on financial issues during tomorrow night’s meeting.
First they will hear a report on bond refinancing from a representative of the George K. Baum investment banking company. Many districts are taking advantage of favorable interest rates to save money by refinancing school bond debt.
Also, board members will hear a report on the audit of last school year’s finances.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at the District Office; 2200 S. 138th St.; Bonner Springs, KS 66012. Board members will meet again later this month on Monday, April 16.
