Shawnee Mission School District’s Board of Education met Monday, April 9, at 7 p.m.
Board members devoted most of tonight’s meeting to the routine but necessary responsibilities of governance, such as authorizing construction change orders and reviewing bids from vendors wishing to sell milk, pizza and sub sandwiches to the district.
Action items on the agenda included proclamations honoring National Volunteer Week and Para Appreciation Week.
The meeting, which was open to the public, took place at the Howard D. McEachen Administrative Center; 7235 Antioch Road; Overland Park, KS 66204.
