The Spring Hill School District’s Board of Education met Monday, April 9, at 7 p.m.
In addition to routine items on the agenda, such as reviewing furniture bids and setting fees for next year, board members had a full schedule.
They considered taking advantage of favorable interest rates to refinance just under $10 million worth of school bond debt and save about $700,000 for the district.
Other business included hearing an update on technology projects — a network upgrade and the purchase of new computers — financed by proceeds from school bond sales.
The Board of Education meeting, which was open to the public, took place at the Hilltop Education Center; 16740 W. 175th St.; Olathe, KS 66062.
