The Spring Hill School District’s Board of Education will meet Monday, March 5, at 7 p.m.
In addition to routine items on the agenda, such as hearing the clerk’s and treasurer’s reports and paying the bills, board members will have a full schedule.
Much of the meeting will be focused on construction-related business. Approving bids for construction of the Wolf Creek Elementary school is on the agenda. In addition, a representative of J.E. Dunn Construction Company will tell the board about construction progress at Prairie Creek Elementary School, where a new addition to relieve overcrowding is being funded by bond money approved by voters. Also, board members will hear information about an HVAC retrofit.
Consideration of fee changes and administrator evaluations for next school year are also on Monday evening’s agenda.
The Board of Education meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at the Hilltop Education Center; 16740 W. 175th St.; Olathe, KS 66062.
