Tonight’s agenda appears to be dedicated primarily to the routine but necessary business of governance, such as renewing insurance policies and paying bills.
Probably the most significant agenda item is a public hearing regarding this year’s budget. Administrators are amending it, because they learned more bilingual students are enrolled than they originally thought, so the district is eligible for additional state funding.
Next month’s board meeting is scheduled for March 20.
Tonight’s meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Central Office and Training Center; 2010 N. 59th St.; Kansas City, KS 66104.
