A highlight of Bartman’s report will be sharing a rough draft of a new public relations program called “Made Smart,” intended for internal audiences such as students and parents. The focus of the program — which is to begin at the start of the next school year — is college preparedness from birth through high school. Parental involvement is stressed.
Also, the superintendent will report on the district’s alternative school program and provide the board with a budget update.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place in the Board Room at Boone Elementary School; 8817 Wornall Road; Kansas City, MO 64114.
