The Basehor-Linwood School District’s Board of Education will meet this evening at 6 p.m..
On the agenda will be discussion of the vacant board position created when Wynne Coleman moved to New Mexico, which was announced at last month’s meeting. According to the Leavenworth County Election Office, this vacancy will have to be filled by appointment, because no school board election is scheduled until 2013. At tonight’s meeting the board also plans to approve publication of a Board Vacancy Resolution.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place in the Lou Haney Board of Education Room; 2008 N. 155th St.; Basehor, KS 66007.
